Beatles Complete return to the Daneside Theatre for another night of Beatlemania.
Having now performed over 270 shows at the world famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, Beatles Complete remain the youngest ever Beatles band to gain a residency at the Cavern Club where they still perform every Thursday, packing the club out and creating a unique Beatles vibe. Aged between 18 and 22 Beatles Complete are the closest thing you will get to the unbridled joy of seeing the Beatles when they first lit up the world. Whilst they can’t promise all the screaming and tears from the 60’s, they can give you a host of classic songs brilliantly performed by a band of accomplished multi-instrumentalists, spanning right across The Beatles’ recording history, from Please Please Me right through to Let It Be.

1916. As war rages on the Western Front, the Choral Society in Ramsden, Yorkshire has lost most of its men to the army. The Choral’s ambitious committee, determined to press ahead, decides to recruit local young males to swell their ranks. They must also engage a new chorus master, and despite their suspicions that he has something to hide, their best bet seems to be Dr. Henry Guthrie (Ralph Fiennes) – driven, uncompromising, and recently returned from a career in Germany. As conscription papers start to arrive, the whole community discovers that the best response to the chaos that is laying waste to their lives is to make music together.

Daneside Theatre is an independent theatre with a charitable status that aims to provide a venue for the community that all ages can benefit from.
The 300-seat theatre is located just on the edge of the town centre just off the Mountbatten Way, the dual carriageway that runs through the town. It is the home of various amateur groups as well as being available to hire for shows and business events. The original theatre built in the 1980s was extended in 2000 to add rehearsal rooms, scenery store and provides better access and facilities for all theatre users.
These facilities enable shows of all types to be staged, from plays to musicals, films to dance shows, pantomimes to concerts. So we aim to have something to suit all tastes during our season.
